Hi friends ,
Today I am going to show you how to install and set up Denford CNC (FANUCL & FANUCM)softwares using Dosbox
Since most of our operating system has been updated we cant use this software directly so I am going to show alternate method to use this software.
You can try this method in any version of windows(7,8,8.1 & 10)Let's begin.
1) First you need to download the rarfile. (click here).2) Extract it to your computer using 7zip or any extractor you like.
3) Copy it into your C: drive then follow the steps given below.
Step 1
➤Copy to your C: drive or primary drive
STEP 2
➤Copy fanucl and fanucm files inside fanuc file to c: drive
STEP3: open fanuc file and install dosbox.
➤double click on DOSBox0.74-win32-installer.
click next
click next
click install
click close
Now dosbox has been successfully installed in your PC
STEP 4
➤Now double click on dosbox icon in your desktop.If you have followed all the above steps correctly then you will get dosbox window like this
➤In that command window type mount C C:\fanucl and press enter and if you done this steps correctly it will show Drive C is mounted as a local directory c:\fanucl
➤Then type c:\ in next line of command and press enter you will get c:\> in the place of z:\>
then type FANUCL.exe and press enter you will get message like this as shown in image below and FANUCL software automatically opens
Now you have successfully installed LATHE SOFTWARE for MILLING follow the same steps as you did before. I will just give the steps below follow this.
1)open DOSBox in dextop
2)Type mount c c:\fanucm
3)Type c:\
4)Type FANUCM.exe
5)press enter
Now software is successfully installed and MILL GUI will display as shown below
